To be fair, it was a couple of years since I bought VW ones for the Caravelle.
I've bought from them last month no import taxes at all.

£130 at dealer price for £87 delivered took just under a week to arrive too.

I’ve asked the same question after running out without any warnings maybe a software issue . Happened twice now although last time I knew because headlamp wash stops first as I’m guessing the pump is a little higher

I had to drive about 30 miles with it going ‘bing’ and popping up the message a couple of days ago until I stopped at a motorway service station and had to go into the petrol station to buy some more!

I wonder why it works for some cars and not others?

I’ve had more front assist warnings than anything else ! But running out of wash during the salty motorway trips was bad but at least now I can tell from sound when running low

Yes, there’s a bit of a delay. I assume there aren’t any one way valves in the pipes like on some other cars. I have to hold it for a second or two before anything comes out.

Maybe an air leak or a faulty non-return valve, so the fluid drains back into the bottle?

With mine, if the headlights are on it has to fill and push the headlight nets out before it does the windscreen. But I don’t thing BioHzrd has headlight washers on his.

Just to confirm / reassure, I also have a delay of perhaps almost a second before screen wash emerges from the nozzles. No headlight washing system on my one.

I did get the ‘screen wash empty’ warning a few weeks ago - so this appeared to work as expected.

That's how it should be. That allows you to do a short pull on the stalk and do a wipe, without the wash.

Nissan has the opposite: a short pull gives a wash with no wipe, which is stupid.
